We meet Charlie Sinclair, a factory worker in blue-collar Boston (they used to have factories here, believe it or not) who plays guitar in a rock band called Heavy Piston Head. The group is not entirely successful – The book opens on a Thursday evening at the club great divide, where the band an audience of 500 people (heavy drinkers, and gang violence, was shot). There is a crisis: Jack “Rip” Taylor, the vocalist has disappeared, presumably to score some dope in the parking lot of dealers amicable Dust Twins.

Piston Head What makes it different is that it gives you a complete picture and listens to “real” world of the spirit of Charlie-numbing job on the assembly line with the masses of customers Rehab. I remember being awakened with a start and 7 hours after playing a concert at 3 hours, then drag my carcass to work tired and fall asleep in the break room with my ears still ringing. And in every workplace there is a Lisa … the sweet and beautiful woman who seems to come from another, better world. And we all know guys like Charlie’s brother-in-law, who leeringly want to hear all the allegations about sexual exploits of Charlie. There is so much more – I really recommend this book to those who have always had a dream worth.
